Products, prices and payment

The store offers printed books in Hebrew, English and Russian. A Hebrew edition costs ₪109; an English or Russian edition costs ₪98. The price, shipping fee and total amount payable, including any mandatory charge in the transaction, appear in the order summary before payment. No digital file is sold in this flow.

Payment takes place on a hosted Cardcom payment page, where the available payment methods are shown. Do not provide card details in the store form or in a service inquiry. A payment screen or service reference alone does not confirm that an order was paid, delivered or cancelled.

Shipping and pickup

Orders can be delivered throughout Israel; there is no international shipping. Home delivery for an order containing a Hebrew edition costs ₪33 per order, including when other editions or copies are added. Home delivery for an order containing only English and Russian editions costs ₪29. An available pickup-point option, if shown, is for English or Russian editions only and costs ₪18 per order. Pickup is unavailable when the order contains a Hebrew edition.

An order combining a Hebrew edition with an English or Russian edition ships in two separate parcels from different providers; the customer still pays the single shipping charge shown before payment. Delivery times vary by provider, method and destination, and no fixed range of days has been approved for every route. If we learn of a delay, we will contact the customer using the details provided and handle the order in accordance with the law. Rights concerning failure to deliver on an agreed date remain available.

Cancellation, returns and defects

For a book bought in a distance sale, a cancellation notice may generally be given from the transaction date until 14 days after the later of receiving the book or the transaction-details document, subject to the law. A senior citizen, new immigrant or person with a disability may qualify to cancel within four months of the latest of the transaction date, receipt of the book and receipt of the transaction-details document, if the statutory conditions are met, including a conversation with the business before the transaction was concluded.

A cancellation notice may be given by email, telephone or registered mail using the details above. Please include details that help identify the transaction and a way to contact you; do not send card details. Giving notice is not conditional on returning the book or arranging collection.

For a lawful cancellation unrelated to a defect, non-conformity, failure to deliver on an agreed date or another breach by the business, a cancellation fee of up to 5% of the transaction price or ₪100, whichever is lower, may be charged; returning the book is the customer's responsibility under the law. For a defect, non-conformity, failure to deliver on an agreed date or another breach by the business, no cancellation fee is charged and the business is responsible for collecting the book from where it was delivered, as required by law.

There is no fixed returns address. Contact Aliza through customer service to coordinate a return; for a defective book or wrong edition she will arrange courier collection. Coordination does not restrict the right to give a cancellation notice. Following a valid cancellation, the refund and cancellation of the charge will be made within 14 days of receiving the notice, in accordance with the law. A notice receipt or service reference does not mean the refund is complete.

Privacy and use of information

To handle orders, payment, delivery and service, the store receives the details you provide: name, email, phone, book selections and quantities, and a delivery address or pickup point. A cancellation inquiry may include your name, email, order number and details needed to investigate it. Contact and delivery details required for an order are needed to carry it out.

Information needed for payment and transaction documents is sent to Cardcom. Required delivery information is sent to Lionwheel for Hebrew editions and BookPod for English and Russian editions. The website is hosted by Vercel and its database by Neon. Providers may process or store information outside Israel. The cart and measurement preference are stored in the browser; marketing measurement operates only with consent and while it is active in the store.

Information is kept as needed to handle orders, transaction documents, customer service, legal obligations and disputes. There is no single deletion period for all categories, and marking an inquiry handled does not delete it. You may email the address above to ask to access or correct personal information. Before disclosing it, we verify control of contact details linked to the order; an order number alone is insufficient. Deletion requests are reviewed against recordkeeping duties and rights under the law.
